Torch Bearer for the Rio Paralympics, 2016
In September, 2016, Sanjna had the immense honor of being a Torch Bearer for the 2016 Rio Summer Paralympics. Along with her family, she went to Rio De Janeiro and took part in the Torch relay event.
As a sponsor of the Rio Olympics, 2016, Cisco systems chose Sanjna because she fulfills the vision of the Paralympic Games, which are “a symbol of courage and inspiration to what is possible.”
Sanjna also made and presented a painting for the occasion, which was displayed at Casa Cisco, Rio de janeiro.
International Diana Award- August 2014
Sanjna has been recognized as an Inspiring Role Model for the Community by The Diana Award UK, established in memory of Princess Diana. This organization is a living legacy to Diana, the Princess of Wales’ belief that young people have the power to change the world for the better. Since 1999, the Diana Award has recognized over 40,000 inspirational and socially active young people.
The award committee has appreciated her immense talent in fine art uniquely to raise money for the local charities through her solo art exhibitions and auctions since 2012. The youngster has been praised not only for overcoming negative stereo- types but also inspiring her peers to be their best.
The distinguished Diana award assessment panel’s note mentioned that it was delighted to see the “WOW factor!” in Sanjna’s nomination. This award is signed by Mr. David Cameron, British PM.

Barbara Nichols Klein Scholarship Award
Barbara Nichols Klein was the Principal Director of The Learning Community International for nearly 20 years and helped to make it into an educational organization of integrity, flexibility and customization to enable all children to be successful learners. Barbara created the Futures Scholarship in 1992, and TLCI has distributed over $10,000 to date. In 2004 TLCI created the Barbara Nichols Klein Memorial Scholarships in honor of her many years of support and guidance for families.
Sanjna received the Arts Scholarship for Performance Art, Music, and Visual Arts, as part of her high school graduation ceremony.
India Inclusion Summit- November 2014
Sanjna participated in the event on Nov 28-29, 2014, by giving two of her paintings to be used as a backdrop for the event. She was awarded a plaque for her contribution to the summit.
